Hi, I’m Lake:)

I’m Lake, born and raised in Delaware and now living in the quiet, “lower slower” stretch of Sussex County in Lincoln. I grew up on my family’s farm—baling hay, shearing sheep out in the pasture, and somehow always keeping my nose in a book (that’s where the hopeless romantic in me first took root lol).

My love for photography began out of pure curiosity when I picked up my mother’s Nikon. I started small—asking my rams to pose and directing my sisters as if they were characters in a film. Before long, I realized what I truly loved: creating real, in-the-moment images that feel like scenes from a story.

My work is deeply rooted in my faith in God, which shapes the way I see love, connection, and purpose. I’m especially drawn to country couples—the kind of love that feels steady, genuine, and a little bit wild. Country couples deserve the best from someone who really gets them. Whether it’s dirt roads in a pick-up, open fields, or quiet moments together, I love capturing stories that feel both cinematic and honest, just as they are.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to follow my passion for photography and to preserve these moments for others—turning real life memories into something that feels timeless and to hold on to.
